Esteban performs his original piano-led cinematic orchestral compositions in the contemporary classical tradition with the Esteban Ramirez Octet, featuring piano, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, viola, and two violins. Through his visiopoetic performance style, the music becomes the generative source from which spoken poetry and visual imagery emerge.
As the concert unfolds, Ramirez interweaves piano and ensemble performance with poetry readings, projected illustrations, and engaging storytelling, inviting audiences into a richly layered artistic experience where music, language, and image come vividly to life.
